One of
the headline attractions at the Australian International Airshow 2013 had to be
the first public display flight of the USAF F-22A in Australia. Two raptors
were present during the 2011 airshow however they spent the week on static
display. This year the crowds were treated to an exceptional flying display on
each public day of the show. Given the current economic troubles in the US and subsequent
cuts to airshows we were extremely fortunate to see these aircraft here and
flying during the week.
